Cookies, Browser Storage and Similar Technologies

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains the cookies, browser storage and similar technologies used by the PhotoPost.AI website. PhotoPost.AI uses browser storage, and may rely on similar technologies, to operate the website, remember preferences, run interactive features, and support security and technical infrastructure where applicable.

Cookies, local storage and session storage are not the same thing

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and that can be sent back to a server with later requests. Local storage and session storage are separate browser mechanisms: the data stays in your browser and is not automatically attached to requests. Session storage is cleared when the browser session ends, while local storage persists until it is cleared. This page keeps the three distinct rather than describing all of them as cookies.

Storage this website uses directly

The following items are set by the PhotoPost.AI website itself.

ppai_lang

Type: localStorage

Purpose: Remembers the language selected for the website, so that the same language is shown on a later visit. This is a preference mechanism. It is not an analytics identifier, it is not an advertising identifier, and it is not used to build a profile or to follow you across other websites.

ppai_advisor_session

Type: sessionStorage

Purpose: Retains the state of a Marketing Advisor conversation for the duration of the current browser session, so that the exchange is not lost while you move around the site. The information stored may include the content of that conversation. It is cleared when the browser session ends. This is not a simple preference setting.

Analytics and advertising

PhotoPost.AI does not currently include analytics, advertising or social-tracking technologies in its own website code. In particular, the website does not currently use an analytics platform, advertising tag or social-media pixel to measure page visits, navigation patterns or campaign effectiveness. Third-party infrastructure may use technical cookies or similar technologies as described below.

Third-party website infrastructure

PhotoPost.AI uses third-party website infrastructure and content-delivery or security services. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies for security, delivery, abuse prevention or technical operation. Exact behaviour may depend on live hosting and content-delivery configuration, which cannot be determined from the website source alone.

If non-essential tracking is introduced

PhotoPost.AI does not currently include non-essential analytics or advertising tracking in its own website code. If such technologies are introduced, this policy will be updated and any consent mechanism required by applicable law will be implemented before use where consent is required.

Managing storage in your browser

Your browser lets you inspect and clear cookies, local storage and session storage for a website, usually through its privacy or site-data settings. These are separate mechanisms: browsers do not always group them under one control, and they do not always allow each one to be switched off individually, so the available options depend on the browser you use. Clearing this website's storage removes the saved language preference and any Marketing Advisor conversation held in the current session.
